I've been an aspirational Software Developer for a few years. My main focus was in Web Development. I've always had an interest in computers and technology and my first brush with writing code was by customizing my blogs with HTML and CSS back in the early days of blogging and platforms like Lycos/Tripod, Blogger, and eventually Wordpress. I formally learned Web Design and Development when I studied Graphic Design and specialized in Interactive Design. A little after that I did FullStack JavaScript centered Coding Bootcamp. My first job was with Startup as a Front-End Developer that was short lived and after that I did a few contract jobs. I worked as Technical Support Engineer for ServiceNow. My last coding-adjacent job was as a Teaching Assistant for the 2U/edX Coding Bootcamps. For a while was learning about Machine Learning and AI Engineering by doing some DeepLearningAI Coursera courses.

I started ThreadPool with the intention of it being about programming and technology, but I'm taking a long sabbatical from programming. At least the trying to get a job and career aspect of it.

Besides Programming, I have always had an interest in writing. I did one semester in college in Journalism. Also, while I was studying Graphic Design, I got into Photography and got pretty decent at it. At least decent enough to land a job in a theme park as a photographer.

In my teens and early 20's I was an aspiring musician. I played guitar with a couple of bands and played a total of one live gig. I still play guitar every now and then.

These have been my main interests in life, but I'm also a running enthusiast, bike rider, big reader, music listener, and movie watcher. And so much more

One day I would like to build a cabin.
